Summer Camp

COVID-19 Update

Our goal is to maintain the magic of camp while mitigating the risks associated with the pandemic. The modifications we are considering include virtual programming and maintaining smaller group sizes within our programs. We continue to refine our scenarios for camp programs and we remain cautiously optimistic. As an additional precaution, we are planning to incorporate COVID-19 compliant health screening and other updated techniques to reduce the risk of spreading the virus.

We understand and respect that camp families need to make their own decisions for the health and safety of their children. Recognizing this and considering the burdens families are facing, we are updating our Summer Program policies.

For students excited about making their own Minecraft mods this is a great place to start. Using Tynker – a program accessible to beginners – every student will design unique characters, storyboard a scene, map out the action, and create a complete digitally-animated project. More advanced students can produce longer scenes with background music and sound effects. All students can choose to stream their project to Twitch when they’re done!

  • Format: Small LIVE classes, led by outstanding instructors, using Zoom
  • Result: Projects can be shared with friends and uploaded to YouTube
